About Encinitas Forum

Encinitas Forum is a community discussion site for Encinitas, California, covering Leucadia, Old Encinitas, New Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea and Olivenhain. It’s a place to ask practical local questions and share what you know.

Posting opens soon

The forum is launching. New topics, replies and accounts aren’t open yet. That’s why the “New topic,” “Reply” and “Sign up” buttons show a short notice. There’s no sign-up list, and we don’t collect email addresses.

What’s here now

The Encinitas Forum team has published two kinds of posts: welcome and guideline posts, and practical guides to common local questions. Every factual claim in a guide links to a primary source, such as a City, state agency, school district or library page, so you can check it yourself. Guides note the date their sources were checked.

No endorsements

The team doesn’t rank, recommend or endorse businesses, and doesn’t accept payment for posts. Once posting opens, community posts must follow the community guidelines, including disclosing business connections.

Who runs it

The Encinitas Forum team.

Corrections

If a guide is out of date, the source link is the place to confirm current details. A way to send corrections will open along with posting.
